Help File information for this Screen:
Data presentation
Simple: Up to 6 display lines or 25 display/report items; low number of element types and relationships
Moderate: Up to 15 display lines or 60 display/report items; a fair number of element types and relationships; limited user interaction with displays.
Complex: More than 15 display lines or 60 display/report items; many element types and relationships; extensive user interaction with displays, e.g., scrolling/amendment/insertion/deletion.
Data Restructuring
This topic relates to all reformatting of data, including data retrieved via called functions as well as directly.
Simple: Simple data with little requirement for editing.
Moderate: Some data complexity; significant amount of editing/conversion required.
Complex: A broad variety of data items and types with generally complex editing/conversion requirements.
Data Retrieval
This topic relates to data retrieved directly from files and/or databases. If all retrieval is performed for you, e.g. by calls to parameterised middleware functions, then you should use 'non-applicable' here and describe the call parameters under Linkages via the Program Logic tab.
Simple: Simple data with straightforward relationships; some editing/conversion required.
Moderate: Some interdependencies; significant amount of editing/conversion required.
Complex: Multiple sources and/or data types and/or interdependencies; significant amount of key-handling and/or editing.
